What types and grades of aluminum can I sell here?
You can sell all grades of aluminum here: clean sheet, siding, extrusions, cast aluminum, car parts, rims, wire, turnings, door/window frames, chips, borings, turnings, and more.
You can even sell items with other metals, rubber, or plastic attached. If you’re not sure what you have, bring it in and our team will identify and grade it for you.
You can get paid premium prices for specialty alloys (especially for larger volumes): clean or anodized extrusions, painted extrusions, bare wire, 5052 and 5000 series, 6061, 6063, and 6000 series, car/auto rims, truck wheels, and more.
We have an XRF metal detector on site to identify rare alloys as well.
Is clean aluminum worth more than dirty or irony aluminum?
Yes. Clean aluminum (free of steel, plastic, rubber or other attachments) usually earns a better price. Dirty or irony aluminum still has a value, it just grades a little differently based on what’s mixed in. Either way, it has a value, and you'll get paid for it.
Do I need to strip insulated aluminum wire before bringing it in?
You can sell covered aluminum wire as is - with the plastic or rubber coating on it. We accept both bare and insulated (coated or covered with plastic/rubber) aluminum wire. Bare wire typically pays more, so you can strip it if its quick and easy to do so. You can sell it either way though. Whatever you have, we'll weigh it and pay you the best price possible.
Do you accept aluminum cans?
Sorry, we do NOT accept California Refund Value (CRV) aluminum cans. For decades, we were the regional destination for aluminum can recycling, guaranteeing top pricing and quick service, but we closed that portion of our business in 2020.
We do accept aluminum cat food cans, non-CRV aluminum cans, and other metal cans.

How do you price scrap aluminum?
We pay competitive market prices based on the current value of each grade. Prices do change over time, and they also depend on what type of items you have to recycle. All of your material is weighed in front of you on site. You can get paid in cash, or we can mail a check - which ever you prefer.
Do you take aluminum that still has steel attached, like radiators or rims?
Yes. You can bring in aluminum-copper coils, car or truck radiators, rims and wheels with tire stems/wheel weights, irrigation pipe with steel pieces, sheet aluminum with nails and screws attached, and more. We look at every single load to ensure you get the right payout for the aluminum and other metal items you have for recycling.
