Earth Day at 40: Modesto Junk Co. commits an ‘act of GREEN’
Earth Day turns forty years old this April 22, 2010, and Modesto Junk Company is committing an ‘act of GREEN’ this week! In addition to buying California Redemption Value (CRV) glass beverage containers for twenty years on now, The Company is now also accepting non-CRV glass beverage and food containers.
Per California state law, CRV and non-CRV glass items are separate items, so customers who recycle both items must bring them in sorted and in different bags or containers. Please visit the CRV recycling information page on our web site to learn more about which items are CRV and which are not.
