Classic American car cruising history is celebrated with the new Modesto Historic Cruise Route.  The former cruising streets of 10^th and 11^th streets in Downtown Modesto, immortalized in George Lucas’ 1973 film American Graffiti, is now a destination for visitors, both locally and globally. Located right across the street from the old Burge’s Drive-In (9th & “O” streets) throughout the whole car cruising era was Modesto Junk Company!
