Month long lawn mower trade-in program begins April 22, 2009
Modesto Junk Company, Inc. Recycling Center is pleased to inform its customers that for a third year in a row, it is a partner recycling center with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) for a month-long lawn mower trade-in program. Individuals who have a gas-powered lawn mower can contact the SJVAPCD during the next thirty (30) days and request a discount voucher to purchase an electric-powered Neuton brand lawn mower for $150.00 to $250.00 LESS (depending on model selected) than the retail price. Vouchers are validated when citizens bring their old, gas-powered lawn mower to Modesto Junk Co. during the next thirty (30) days. For more details, visit ValleyAir.org.
