Modesto Junk Company came out to local Earth Day celebrations during the month of April. The Company had interactive booths at three events: Modesto Junior College’s 40 Years of Earth Day, the City of Modesto’s 21st anual Earth Day in the Park, and the Modesto Nuts professional baseball club’s Go Green Night. Visitors to the booth were treated to free ‘got junk?’ refrigerator magnets and bumper stickers, fun yard sticks, coloring books for kids, and a chance to win ‘got junk?’ t-shirts by guessing the weight of a bale of aluminum cans.
